Tiano: The Tenor and Piano Duo

Arts Express Theatre - Mainstage / Oct 16, 2026 7:00 - 8:30

About the Show

In 2025 Tiano made their US debut as part of the summer season at Barrington Stage, Massachusetts. Later in the year they performed at The Composers Room, Las Vegas and at The Starlight Room at Arts Express Theatre, Tucson, Arizona. They also performed at the Wales Millennium Centre and Downstairs at The Grand, Birmingham. On August 21st 2026, Tiano will make their debut at NYC’s prestigious venue, 54 Below and are returning to Art Express, Tucson, Arizona on October 16th 2026.

Shimi & Chris performed at a gala tribute to former Israeli president Shimon Peres at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London. They headlined a night at the Savoy Hotel and topped the bill at London’s Hippodrome. Tiano performs regularly at London’s prestigious venue Crazy Coqs in Piccadilly where their shows invariably sell out. Shimi’s soaring tenor voice is equally at home singing musical theatre classics, opera favourites or songs made famous by Andrea Bocelli. They inject new life into familiar songs, perform songs in English, Italian, Spanish and Hebrew, and present original songs. They impress the audience with their clever and interesting medleys of songs performed in perfect harmony, gliding seamlessly between different styles.

Lucas Andrew - Music Crowns

Chris Hamilton - Piano

Chris is a multi award winning pianist and composer. After studying Law at Oxford University and working as an attorney in both London and New York, he decided to focus on performing full time. Chris has performed internationally from the House of Commons to Bangkok. He has been described by New York critics as "the real deal" and "a total showman”. In the UK, The Daily Telegraph hailed him as "an ace pianist”. New York cabaret legend Steve Ross called him “a wizard on the keys”.
