Scholarship Guidelines

Thank you so much for your interest in Arts Express Theatre's arts education programs! We're thrilled that you want to join our community. We're proud to offer scholarships to individuals and families who face financial challenges. If you're passionate about the arts but concerned about costs, we encourage you to apply! Scholarships are based on Arizona's Title 1 guidelines and can cover up to 50% of program fees for any of our offerings including: Drama Club, Classes/Workshops, and Summer Camps.

How to Apply

To be considered for a scholarship, we'll need you to share some financial information with us. Don't worry, all applications are kept strictly confidential. Here's what you need to know:

Submit your application at least one month before your program starts (whenever possible)
Applications are reviewed in the order we receive them, so earlier submissions help!
The more details you share about your situation, the better we can support you
Reapplying? Submit a fresh application with current information each time
Scholarships are valid for one year and cover all Arts Express programs during that period

Next Steps After Approval

Once we notify you of approval (by phone or email), you'll have three days to complete registration and pay any remaining tuition fees. If you need special arrangements, just reach out to us; we're here to help!

Your Role as a Scholar

As a non-profit, we thrive on the generosity of our community. Scholarship recipients are asked to volunteer with Arts Express as part of this partnership. It's a wonderful way to give back and deepen your connection to our theater family!

Scholarships cover tuition only—additional costs like show attire or meals are your responsibility
Scholarships are non-transferable
Arts Express Theatre reserves the right to revoke scholarships if needed
Scholarship policies may be updated from time to time
